The first day in Cancun

The first full day in Cancun, we decided to take it easy. Also, the rain has been on and off.We couldn't be on the beach or go on any tour.Maybe the rain gave us a very good excuse that we didn't need to do anything.Getting up late in the morning, we started looking for a place for lunch instead of breakfast.G found a very good Mexican place on Lonely Planet.Since the taxi was a little bit pricy from the night before, we took a bus this time, 7.5 peso ($ 1 = 13 peso) each person. The restaurant is called Los De Pescado. It has only two kinds of dishes, Taco and Ceviche (Seafood cocktail). The place looked very basic. It 's an open area. Most of the tables are outside. The cooking area is at the back but you can see all their cooking process. There were about 10 female cooks over there. The waiter was a young Mexican boy.Nobody spoke much English. We knew we came to the right place. We ordered some Fish Taco (20 peso), Ceviche (99 peso) and some cold Corona (20 peso). Life was easy and beautiful. There was a food stand with some side dishes for free, sliced cucumber, fresh saucer, fired onion and pepper, and some spicy sauce. They were good! We ate more of those than the dishes we ordered.I thought those side dishes could be perfect for a bowl of cold Chinese noodles.Well, I already started graving for Chinese food.G agreed with me.We ate and drank, then went to a local market called Market 23.Few tourists would go there . It's mainly for the local people, chicken, sausage, vegetable, fruit, spices, daily goods, etc.We didn't buy anything but took some pictures. Then we headed back to the hotel and started thinking where we should go for dinner . We loved this kind life, living like a pig, sleep and eat, and eat and sleep.
